Dog Travel to Dubai (UAE)
To import a dog into Dubai (part of the United Arab Emirates), you need an import permit issued by the Dubai Ministry of Environment and Water. To obtain the permit your dog will require a valid rabies vaccination certificate and must also be microchiped (ISO Standard), with full details of the pet including date of birth, sex, color and breed. A copy of your passport, address and phone number in the UAE and your country of origin are also required for this permit.
The permit can take up to 14 days to process so you need to plan ahead for your dog (or other pet) relocation. The permit is valid for 30 days from the date of issue and, if you use our services, we will ensure that all requirements are co-ordinated with your dog's travel plan.
Please Note: United Arab Emirates prohibits the importation of certain dog breeds. All types of pit bulls, American Staffordshire terriers, Japanese tosas, Argentinian fighting dogs, Brazilian fighting dogs and wolf dog hybrids are prohibited from importation into the UAE. In addition, any dog that is a cross breed with any of these breeds is prohibited.
