We have been shipping dogs by air to all the major continents for over 30 years and as such have a vast amount of experience which we can call upon when we encounter the odd unexpected problem.
Shipping live animals to any country requires an in depth (and current) knowledge of the different rules that apply to the import of animals for a given country. Long haul pet shipping requires a greater depth of the understanding of airline logistics because your pet will spend longer in an aircraft hold and a refueling/transit stop may be involved.
We are long haul pet shipping experts and have sent thousands of pets to new homes in far away places and of course we will happily deal with any anxious questions that you, as a pet owner may have. We can provide pet export services from most UK airports so contact us and let us know your plans so that we can discuss pet travel options because we like to minimise any stress for both pet owners and pets.
If you are emigrating or moving abroad for a period of time and want to take your pet dog, or dogs with you then the key is to plan ahead, it is a straight forward process if you do indeed allow plenty of time. Planning ahead means getting all the relevant vaccinations and any other veterinary treatments out the way early which means that your pets will not be suffering side effects when they travel. It’s also a good idea to get all documentation completed and ready to go with plenty of time to spare before your departure date. Passportforpets.co.uk is a division of Airsupply Shipping located near London’s Heathrow Airport. We offer a range of dog shipping services that can include a “door-to-door” collection and delivery in many countries around the world.
Our pricing is open and transparent with no hidden fees and we will be pleased to offer any help and support you may require to get your pet safely to your new home.
This website provides a wealth of information about the import requirements of various countries relating to the import of dogs but if your destination is not listed under the “Destination Requirements” tab (above) then simply contact us by completing the online quotation form, or our quick enquiry form or you can call us free using the number at the top of this page. IATA Approved Flight Kennels All dogs shipped by air must be housed in an IATA approved kennel which is suitable for the size of the dog being transported. Water must also be included in the kennel for long journeys and some airlines do exercise any dogs being shipped in the hold on significant stop-overs but for security reasons, this is not something that you (if you are traveling on the same aircraft) would be allowed to do yourself.
